Okay, don't laugh.
I keep these guys as pets. They don't live here and I just happened to find my first one while on vacation. It laid eggs but I only kept four and out of the four only one baby survives because of an illness. They're common in some parts of my Texas but it's too dry here, and I can't just drive to the east and spend days looking for a damn snail. I've tried to locate them online, but the retardedness of US agriculture law makes them incredibly difficult for companies to ship across state lines even though they're already established here. Biological supply companies stopped selling them. I've checked the classifieds on pet snail forums, but they're all UK centric and importing snails from a foreign country is a HUGE legal no-no. I did find one source, but they only sell in quantities of a dozen and it's $78 shipped. :*(
So if you:
A. live in the US
B. have a bunch of garden snails in your yard
I would love you forever if you'd ship me some. I can give instructions on how to ship them safely and help verify that they're the correct species.
Plz help find some buddies for Hermy Jr.

I have snails, but they're just small regular snails.
